New accounts should supply three credit references and a tax-exempt certificate if exempt.
Authorization is not required to return books, both hardcover and paperback, in clean and resalable condition. Books that are damaged, stickered, soiled, or shopworn will be returned to the customer via UPS at the customer’s expense.
CDs, DVDs, videos, audiocassettes, and microfiche are not returnable unless defective. Returns for credit will be accepted within eighteen months of invoice date. Invoice number, titles, quantity, and reason for return must be included with each shipment. Credit will be issued at invoiced discount if the invoice number is supplied. If the invoice number is not supplied, credit will be issued at the highest maximum discount. Claims for short shipments or defective books must be made within thirty days of invoice date.
