For Individuals

Individuals may purchase books through bookstores and online retailers or directly from the publisher. Direct orders from individuals must be prepaid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) or by check or money order payable in US dollars.

For Booksellers

Booksellers in the US and other countries may order all titles from Georgetown University Press at standard discounts through our international network of sales representatives and distribution partners. For more information, please see Booksellers.

Return Policy

Authorization is not required to return books, both hardcover and paperback, in clean and resalable condition. Books that are damaged, stickered, soiled, or shopworn will be returned to the customer via UPS at the customer’s expense.

CDs, DVDs, videos, audiocassettes, and microfiche are not returnable unless defective. Returns for credit will be accepted within eighteen months of invoice date. Invoice number, titles, quantity, and reason for return must be included with each shipment. Credit will be issued at invoiced discount if the invoice number is supplied. If the invoice number is not supplied, credit will be issued at the highest maximum discount. Claims for short shipments or defective books must be made within thirty days of invoice date.
